H2 Green Steel is currently working on four other green hydrogen-based steel production projects in the Americas and Europe, a company executive has told the World Hydrogen Summit.

“We could have taken FID this year (2024), but we deferred it and returned the Innovation Fund grant that was already awarded to the project,” the Uniper Hydrogen Executive told the World Hydrogen Summit.
