Backed by AHL and LONGi Green Energy Technology, the project aims to produce 1.2 million tonnes of green methanol annually for export.
Kellogg’s replaced fossil fuel gas with hydrogen to power the toasting oven, which is used to produce brands such as Corn Flakes, Bran Flakes, Special K and Rice Krispies.
The maximum funding amount per project is €10m, while small and medium-sized enterprises can secure up to €8.25m per project.
