Res Integra to install 4MW of Ohmium electrolysers at Sicilian petrochemical site

4MW of PEM electrolysers will be installed in a Sicilian petrochemical site to produce up to 700 tonnes of green hydrogen per year to clean up industrial operations and mobility in the region.

Res Integra, an industrial plant EPC firm, will install Ohmium electrolysers at an unnamed facility in the Siracusa industrial area in the east of the Italian island.

Despite not naming any specific offtakers or use cases, the partners say hydrogen produced by the plant will be used to support “efforts to decarbonise regional industrial operations and mobility.” H2 View understands that an offtake agreement has been signed.
