Volvo Trucks plans to kick off on-road tests of hydrogen internal combustion engine (ICE) trucks in 2026 with intentions to commercially launch a vehicle platform by the end of the decade.

UPDATE: A JM spokesperson told H2 View, “Hydrogen remains attractive in the long-term. We are being disciplined with our capital and slowing our investment to align with the changing demand environment.”
