Starting with its 400kg capacity hydrogen project in Québec, the two companies will build another 15 projects across North America over the next five years.
CEO Andy Marsh said the Southwire deal reflected Plug’s focus on its “core markets.”

Once fully operational, Gascade’s 1,630km pipeline will have a capacity of up to 20GW, enabling the transport of hydrogen from northern Germany to key demand centers in the south.
