Last month, the hydrogen refuelling firm revealed it will make around 45% of its global workforce redundant in Q1 2025 due to market delays.
HyHaul brought together UK-based operators to gain firsthand experience of hydrogen—powered HGVs.
The 2.2 MW plant in Schweinfurt is expected to produce up to 2.2 tonnes of green hydrogen per day once operational, with commissioning set for 2026.

The site, located near Muscat International Airport, can produce up to 130kg of green hydrogen per day to support the deployment of 15 hydrogen-powered taxis from the state-owned transport agency Mwasalat.
Construction is expected to be completed this spring before installation and commissioning.
