ZeroAvia has signed a new agreement with De Havilland Canada to implement hydrogen-electric engines into Dash 8-400 aircraft in order to decarbonise the Canadian-based company’s operations.
Formalised with a memorandum of understanding (MoU), the two companies will work together for a line-fit and retrofit programme to integrate the hydrogen-electric engine that will then be used to convert existing aircraft in addition to newly manufactured ones as well.
