Hydrogen-powered aviator ZeroAvia has raised a total of $116m from its Series C funding round, with the UK Infrastructure Bank supporting the financing.
The round, co-led by Airbus, Barclays Sustainability Impact Capital and NEOM Investment Fund (NIF), also saw participation from Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Horizons Ventures, Alaska Airlines, Ecosystem Integrity Fund, Summa Equity, and Amazon Climate Pledge.
Set to accelerate ZeroAvia’s certification of its first hydrogen fuel cell engines and advance R&D, the funding is anticipated to support the company’s UK growth plans.
