ZeroAvia, MHIRJ sign agreement to develop hydrogen-electric propulsion for regional aircraft

ZeroAvia and MHI RJ Aviation Group (MHIRJ) have revealed a new agreement today (Oct 25) to develop hydrogen-electric propulsion technology for regional jet applications.

The collaboration will leverage ZeroAvia’s hydrogen fuel cell powertrain technology as well as MHIRJ’s aircraft design to create a new solution that not only has the potential to deliver new aircraft, but also to retrofit existing aircraft in market.
