ZeroAvia is set to convert a 76-seat Alaska Airlines aircraft to hydrogen

ZeroAvia is set to retrofit an Alaska Airlines Bombardier Q500 regional turboprop aircraft with a hydrogen-electric propulsion system to expands the reach of zero-emission flight technology.

With plans to see the aircraft take to the skies next year (2024), the announcement comes after plans were originally revealed in 2021.
