Yara and Trafigura have unveiled the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) today (June 7) to collaborate on the development and promotion of ammonia usage as a clean fuel in shipping.
This will see the hydrogen-based fuel play an important role in decarbonising the maritime sector.
In addition to this, the MoU will see the companies explore possible opportunities to work together on green and blue ammonia fuel infrastructure and market opportunities.
