The company started out in 1912 in Osaka, Japan, but has since gone on to develop compact industrial engines and large commercial engines, agricultural machinery and facilities, construction equipment, energy systems, marine, to machine tools, and components.
Yanmar, however, is now starting to move away from its conventional diesel offerings as it looks to support a decarbonised future with the implementation of hydrogen technologies. Here, in this exclusive interview, we speak to Tomohisa Tao, President of Yanmar Power Technology, to find out more about the company, its hydrogen innovations and its plans for the future.
