Yanmar commercialises 35kW hydrogen fuel cell system

Yanmar Energy Systems has commercialised its compact hydrogen PEM fuel cell system and will begin accepting orders in Japan in September (2024).

The HP35FA1Z power generation system can produce 35kW of power during grid connection and 35kVA during standalone operation, whilst ensuring zero emissions.

Weighing 1,650kg, the compact design includes all the necessary operating equipment. The system also supports the integrated control of up to 16 units during grid-connected operation, allowing for “easy adjustment of operating units based on power demand and available hydrogen supply,” according to the Japanese company.
