Yanmar Energy Systems and Daigas Energy have successfully tested a cogeneration system using a 30% hydrogen blend, according to reports.
The hydrogen fuel was blended by volume into municipal gas using Yanmar’s 400kW EP400G gas-fired cogeneration system, installed at Daigas’ Carbon Neutral Research ANNEX Torishima site.
A statement released by the companies claimed that the system can operate with the same rated power output and generation efficiency when using the 30% hydrogen blend.
