Chereau has handed over the keys to the “world’s first” hydrogen-powered refrigerated semi-trailer.
This is the last phase of the three-year €5.5m ($6.2m) collaborative ROAD project which aims to create the refrigerated semi-trailer of the future.
The keys were handed over to carrier Malherbe at a press conference in early July who will now carry out the final tests at their own site.
Before leaving, the ROAD vehicle was recharged with hydrogen at the Saint-Lô station.
