The second session of the World Hydrogen Finance & Investment online conference held September 7, 2023, focused on hydrogen investment and its project use cases around the globe.
Raphael Schoëntgen, Founder and CEO of Hydrogen Advisors, moderated the session, which heard from Amit Mohan, Head of Debt and Project Lead: Hydrogen at Climate Fund Managers B.V, and Kim Pedersen, Director, Investments at A.P. Moller Capital.
Mohan opened the session with the SDG Namibia One Fund, which is designed to facilitate and accelerate the development of a green hydrogen sector and economy in Namibia. Mohan claimed it will address the challenges associated with green hydrogen infrastructure projects, providing developers with capital at different stages, and he believes it should be replicated throughout Africa.
