World Hydrogen 2023 Awards: Winners named

The World Hydrogen 2023 Awards named six winners for their contribution to the hydrogen industry on Tuesday (May 9).

Coming as part of the 2023 World Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition, held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, hosted by the Sustainable Energy Council (SEC)the Awards celebrated companies, projects and individuals across the hydrogen landscape.

Ursula von Der Leyen, President of the European Commission won the Hydrogen Person of the Year Award for her role in launching a range of hydrogen programmes including the EU Clean Hydrogen Alliance, EU Hydrogen Strategy, REPowerEU, European Green Deal, RED II, Hydrogen Valley tender, and more.
