Wood has been selected as the Owner’s Engineer for an 84,000 tonne per year green hydrogen project in Spain.
The global consulting and engineering company will lead as a technical authority of the Catalina Project, including technology selection, preliminary studies, front end engineering and design (FEED), and EPC tendering support.
The project is expected to combine 1.5GW of wind and solar energy to power a 500MW electrolyser. It is headed up by a consortium led by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), through its Copenhagen Infrastructure Energy Transition Fund I K/S.
