Windcat to launch hydrogen-powered vessels for offshore operations

CMB.TECH’s Windcat has ordered six Elevation Series commissioning service operation vessels (CSOVs) which will be powered by hydrogen.

After securing the order with Damen Shipyards, Windcat has partnered with Anglo-Eastern for the technical and crewing management of the vessels. The six vessels will be constructed at Ha Long Shipyard in Vietnam, with Windcat expected to operate the first CSOV in 2025.
