Westport-Volvo JV designed to commercialise hydrogen and clean fuel engine tech reaches next stage

Westport Fuel Systems and Volvo Group have established its previously announced joint venture (JV) following the signing of an investment agreement.

The JV was announced last year (2023), designed to accelerate the commercialisation and global adoption of Westport’s HPDI™ (high pressure direct injection) fuel system technology for long-haul and off-road applications.
