Hydrogen is revolutionising German industry and is on the lips of all major parties in the current election campaign with all in favour of establishing a global hydrogen market.
With the increasing need to drive the hydrogen economy, Wintershall Dea is progressing its production plans with blue and turquoise hydrogen created from natural gas.
To this end, Wintershall is working with VNG to build a plant to produce turquoise hydrogen in 2023 that is based on a methane pyrolysis method used by British start up HiiROC.
