Californian company Ways2H has partnered with Indian-based h2e Power Systems to develop a waste to renewable hydrogen facility.
The collaboration will see the two companies establish a manufacturing base in India for Ways2H’s proprietary thermochemical technology, which converts waste to carbon-negative renewable hydrogen and sperate carbon dioxide (CO2).
Preliminary work has begun on the ‘first-of-its-kind’ plant, which will be deployed near Pune, Maharashtra. The Framework Agreement was signed in New Delhi at the Net Zero summit on July 6, 2023.
