Three players in the hydrogen market have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate and produce the ‘first’ waste-to-hydrogen plant in the Middle East.
UK innovator in waste to fuel technologies, Chinook Sciences, BEEAH Group, and Japanese conglomerate, Air Water, are teaming up to develop the plant in Sharjah, UAE.
The facility will produce fuel cell grade hydrogen from waste wood and plastic, with plans to include an on-site green hydrogen dispensing station able to fuel vehicles.
