Waste plastic-to-hydrogen facilities to be explored in Japan through Hydrogen Utopia and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries

Japan will gain waste plastic-to-hydrogen facilities across the nation with Hydrogen Utopia (HUI) and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries to explore opportunities to deploy the technology.

Formalised with the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI), Mitsubishi will review the technology and explore commercial opportunities for waste-to-hydrogen facilities using Powerhouse Energy’s Distributed Modular Generation (DMG®) technology.
