Viritech has launched its powertrain suitable for road cars, light commercial vehicles (LCVs) and off-highway applications.
The VPT60N Ready to Run Vehicle Powertrain combines a 60kW fuel cell; a 16kWh battery energy store; e-machine, inverter and final drive unit with up to 200kW of power; a full function vehicle control unit; and a 6kg 350 bar hydrogen storage system.
The complete powertrain is “highly configurable with modular design to allow for easy integration across many applications,” suitable for OEMs, Tier-1s and research bodies.
