Verne and Cryostar have agreed to develop cryo-compressed hydrogen (CcH2) fuelling solutions for heavy-duty station developers and fleets.
Under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the two companies will construct a high flow cryopump compatible with compressed hydrogen and CcH2 to allow for fuelling stations to distribute both fuels.
The solution is reported to be the “lowest cost pathway for future-proofed stations.” Demonstration tests will begin next year (2025), targeting high flow (10kg/min) and high-density fuelling solutions.
