Verdagy to deliver 320MW of electrolyser capacity for SAF and e-methanol production

Verdagy has agreed to provide over 320MW of its eDynamic alkaline electrolysers to produce green hydrogen in a sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and e-methanol biorefinery.

The electrolyser manufacturer has entered into a strategic partnership with Petron Scientech, a company with more than 35 years of experience in renewable sustainable chemical process technologies.

The New Jersey, US-based company also has offices in Portugal and India and plans to set up R&D hubs in the UAE and Japan. Petron wants to scale its production capacities to multiple gigawatts, however, it has not publicly disclosed how many live plants it has to date.
