Environmental services company Veolia is testing the use of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in an effort to progress towards carbon neutrality.
The three Hyundai fuel cell vehicles were presented to the company yesterday and are part of an agreement with H2-Mobility.
“Hydrogen is a future issue that has not been discontinued in the automotive fuel but continues with the use of excess renewable energy and continued power generation,” said Julien Mounier, Business Manager of Veolia Energy Germany.
Braunschweig’s first City Council Geiger added: “In connection with the climate protection, the city administration Brunswick, Veolia and IAV with the procurement of a future road, the fuel cell vehicles go completely emission-free.”
