The US Senate has passed a new resolution that will officially declare October 8, 2021, as the National hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day for the US.
Under Resolution 412, the date of October 8, chosen in recognition of the atomic weight of hydrogen (1.008), will be the national day for hydrogen with today (Oct 8) being the seventh year in a row that the Senate has officially recognised the day.
The Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association (FCHEA) has expressed their gratitude for the bipartisan leadership to fully recognise this significant day in the industry.
The day provides those in the fuel cell and hydrogen industry to raise awareness for the revolutionary energy carrier and its benefits in decarbonising society.
