A first-of-its-kind national coalition of public transit agencies, manufacturers and suppliers has formed to advance hydrogen fuel cell bus deployments for public transport in the US.
Officially launched on Tuesday (Jan 18), the Hydrogen Fuel Cell Bus Council (HFC Bus Council) aims to educate policymakers, regulators and transportation stakeholders on both the hydrogen vehicles themselves and the supporting infrastructure.
Founding members of the council include NFI Group, SunLine Transit Agency, Foothill Transit, Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada, Stark Area Regional Transit Authority, Utah Transit Authority, Nel, Ballard and many more.
