The US Department of Energy (DOE) has announced it will commit $8.6m of funding to hydrogen and fuel cell projects across 16 states.
The funding comes as part of a larger $72m for small businesses pursuing scientific, clean energy, and climate research development and demonstration projects.
This announcement supports the Biden-Harris administration’s commitment to advancing innovative climate solutions in the US, strengthening its global scientific leadership and realise the President’s goal of a carbon-free grid by 2035 and Net Zero emissions by 2050.
