Danish-based Everfuel has grounded its hydrogen trailer fleet following the malfunction and leak of a valve on one of the 12 trailers.
Hexagon Purus has confirmed to H2 View that it supplied the trailers in question to Everfuel and has said it is working with both Everfuel and the relevant sub-supplier to get the problem resolved as quickly as possible.
A spokesperson for the Norwegian storage provider said, “Safety is our top priority. We have initiated an immediate field investigation to identify the root cause of the malfunction of the specific valve on the distribution trailer. Based on the findings of the investigation we will proceed with the necessary steps to fix the issue and get the trailers back in safe operation as quickly as possible.”
