University of Louisiana at Lafayette receives $1m to advance hydrogen technologies

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL) has received a $1m grant to advance clean hydrogen technologies to help the reduction of carbon emissions.

Having received the grant from the US Department of Energy (DOE) on Friday (July 9), the University said it will develop high-performance metal-supported solid oxide electrolysis cells to support the clean energy shift.

It also wants to work on innovative diagnostic methodologies to achieve net-zero.
