Universal Hydrogen has received a 250th order for its hydrogen-powered regional aircraft products from an unnamed customer.
The company has been taking orders for regional aircraft conversion kits, replacing the existing kerosene-burning gas turbines on 50-60 passenger aircrafts, with the ATR 72 with hydrogen fuel cells and an electric motor.
Earlier today, H2 View reported that the company had recorded another successful flight test campaign for regional aircraft, utilising Universal’s innovative hydrogen-powered, aviation technology.
