Decarbonised flights are still the number one priority for Universal Hydrogen, with the firm confirming the delivery of its first Dash 8-300 test aircraft from Elix Aviation Management (Elix), marking a crucial step in its hydrogen aviation goals.
As well as taking the delivery from Elix, Universal Hydrogen on Wednesday (Feb 23) confirmed that it has also inked a deal with the aircraft leasing company for the sale of ten conversion kits for installation in its existing future turboprop aircraft fleet.
Under terms of the signed Letter of Intent (LoI), Universal Hydrogen has provided Elix flexibility to select any combination of the Dash 8-300 or ATR 72-500/600 conversion kits within this ten-unit order.
