UK-based hydrogen fuel pioneer, ULEMCo, has signed an exclusive memorandum of understanding (MoU) with ENGV today (May 26) to collaborate on developing a market for its hydrogen dual fuel technology in Australia.
The scope of this agreement will focus on heavy-duty commercial vehicles mainly for refuse collection, urban trucks, buses and prime movers.
By using zero-carbon hydrogen to displace diesel directly to the engine, ULEMCo’s dual fuel technology H2ICED enables vehicle owners to reduce carbon emissions by up to 40% as well as offering a practical solution that is immediately available.
