A group of UK gas network companies have stated in a report today (June 4) that the UK’s hydrogen transition must comply with global gold-standard sustainability benchmarks.
The companies additionally believe that the businesses responsible for building the UK’s hydrogen economy should do so in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Published as part of Energy Networks Association’s Gas Goes Green programme, ‘A Joint Commitment to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals’ sets out how companies are fulfilling its shared commitments to delivering the SDGs.
