One of Britain’s biggest generators of zero carbon electricity, EDF, is the latest member to join the UK Hydrogen Taskforce, it was announced today (14th April).
Representatives from Sizewell C, EDF’s proposed nuclear power plant in Suffolk, which hopes to use hydrogen produced from power supplied by neighbouring Sizewell B to cut carbon emissions, will join the Taskforce.

Once built, the power station could also produce hydrogen flexibly while supplying low carbon electricity to millions of UK homes and businesses.
