The UK Government has today (March 30) revealed the green hydrogen production projects set to receive backing from the £240m ($296m) Net Zero Hydrogen Fund (NZHF).
Coming as part of the Government’s wider “multi-billion-pound investment plan” to scale-up affordable and clean power and to build green industries in Britain, the funding is hoped to further the development of hydrogen.
Projects set to receive funding include Statkraft’s Green Energy Hub; Wrightbus’ Ballymena Hydrogen; Progressive Energy, Statkraft and Foresight Group’s Green Hydrogen projects in St Helens and Winnington & Middlewich; the Inverness Green Hydrogen Hub; Mannok Green Hydrogen Valley; Octopus Hydrogen’s Lanarkshire Green Hydrogen; and HyNet HPP2.
