Turkish manufacturing firm ENKA has been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract by Essar Energy Transition (EET) Hydrogen for its hydrogen production plant in Cheshire, UK.
EET Hydrogen’s HPP1 project, located at the Stanlow Manufacturing Complex in Ellesmere Port, will reportedly have a production capacity of 350MW and capture around 600,000 tonnes of CO2 a year.
As a global engineering and construction firm, the Istanbul-based ENKA has constructed some of the UK’s flagship industrial projects, such as Hinkley Point Power Plant in Somerset and Shotton Mill Paper Mill Factory in Flintshire.
