Tunisia secures European partnerships to boost 2050 hydrogen goals

Six hydrogen production projects in Tunisia are set to progress after the government agreed on deals with nine European companies.

Supported by an investment of €120bn, the country targets the production of 8.3 million tonnes of green hydrogen and its derivatives by 2050. H2 View understands that 2.3 million tonnes will be for local use and around six million tonnes of the volume will be exported, mostly to Europe via the SoutH2 pipeline.
