Sustainable project development and management company TritenIAG has announced it will support the front end engineering design (FEED) study for project Nujio’qonik.
The green hydrogen and ammonia project, planned for the Canadian west coast of Newfoundland and Labrador, is expected to be the country’s first commercial, large-scale facility, delivering around 250,000 tonnes of hydrogen a year.
The CD$17bn project will utilise a 3GW wind farm to power the 1.5GW of electrolysers, enabling the production of commercial green hydrogen and ammonia.
