Toyota is set to introduce a leasing programme for its new-generation hydrogen-powered Mirai in Australia in a bid to increase popularity for the zero-emission vehicle.
It is thought the move will spearhead a hydrogen infrastructure in the region with new refuelling sites set up to support the growing hydrogen fuelled vehicle market.
The new leasing programme offers customers a 36 month/60,000km leasing contract which costs $1,750 per month for three years, and also includes fuel, Toyota confirmed in a statement.
