Toyota Motor Corporation and Honda R&D have joined forces to develop a mobile power generation system that consists of a hydrogen fuel cell bus, portable external power output devices and portable batteries.
The two companies have developed the power generation/output system called Moving e in order to assist power grid damage due to disasters such as typhoons and rainstorms.
Taking advantage of its mobility, the Moving e can be utilised as a “phase-free” system which can be used in times of a disaster to support disaster response by supplying electricity.
