TotalEnergies has revealed today (Jan 17) that it has secured rights for a 2GW offshore wind farm project in the ScotWind leasing round that could enable the production of green hydrogen in Scotland.
With the project set to start producing renewable power by 2030, the project also has the potential to produce significant amounts of green hydrogen that can be used for both domestic purposes and exportation.
