For green hydrogen to scale meaningfully, projects must move beyond small pilots, mandates must be properly accounted for, and policy constraints must be eased, Accelera by Cummins’ electrolyser boss has told H2 View.
Andreas Lippert believes the company’s recent 100MW PEM electrolyser order from bp for its green hydrogen plant in Lingen – together with other large-scale projects – sets a new “benchmark” in the industry.
It shows that “this is doable, and it’s industrial scale,” he said.
