For the development of its Innovation Centre in Narvik, Norway, hydrogen-powered maritime solutions provider, TECO 2030 has revealed it has signed an agreement with thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering for the supply of a PEM fuel cell production line.
Under the signed Memorandum of Understanding, thyssenkrupp will deliver all the equipment required to complete the first full production line at the Narvik facility, including stack assembling, module assembly, and test equipment.
Coming as the first of several planned production lines at TECO 2030’s innovation Centre, the facility is planned to be able to produce 1.2GW of fuel cells annually by 2030.
