Wrightbus’ hydrogen-powered double-decker has made its first stop on its UK Hydrogen Roadshow, in which it will complete a 600-mile journey from London to Glasgow ahead of COP26.
The “world’s first” double-decker bus on Wednesday (Oct 20) stopped off at hydrogen aviation firm ZeroAvia,at Cotswold Airport near Cirencester, to see its hydrogen facilities and aircraft first-hand.
Working to bring certified hydrogen-electric powertrains into service from 2024, ZeroAvia is focused on the aviation sector and has inked agreements with the likes of Hyzon Motors, Octopus Hydrogen and PowerCell Sweden.
