The Rolls-Royce of sustainable aviation: new cooperation study to evaluate hydrogen for regional aircraft

A new conceptual zero-emission regional aircraft will be investigated with a 12-month cooperation study between Embraer, Widerøe and Rolls-Royce with hydrogen set to be explored as a zero-emission fuel.

The wider plans include developing sustainable aviation solutions that can be used to reduce the carbon footprint of regional aircraft.
