Aside from the fact these are all proven heavyweights and progressive innovators in energy, what else do these 11 companies have in common? They’re all betting big on hydrogen.
In February, these 11 firms joined forces to form a new coalition dedicated to advancing hydrogen development in the US, Hydrogen Forward. Together they are focused on showcasing hydrogen’s unique value proposition among Washington, D.C. policymakers.
“As we welcomed a new administration in Washington, D.C., some of the leading companies in this space began having discussions, including at the CEO level in the framework of the Hydrogen Council, about the need to decisively advance the hydrogen conversation in the US,” Traci Kraus, Director of Government Relations at Cummins, told H2 View.
“We quickly identified the need for an education and awareness campaign focused on federal policymakers, the individuals with the capacity to really advance hydrogen nationally, and Hydrogen Forward was born.”
